It's Monday May 5th 2014! What are you reading?

It's Monday! What are You Reading! is a weekly hosted by Sheila over at Book Journey. This weekly is meant to keep you people updated on what I read the last week and what I am planning to read the upcoming week.

I had a pretty good week. Maybe.... just maybe my reading slump is coming to an end... *insert hopeful look*. I finished The Book of You by Claire Kendal which was a totally nerve wrecking brilliant read so if you have it go read it NOW! I also finished The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon which was a fun read.

I am currently reading The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair by Joël Dicker.

Next up is Burial Rites by Hannah Kent which started already as there were some problems with my review copy for The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair but put down now. I am not much of a multiple books in one go reader.

I want to read Burial Rites too! (It's waiting for me on my kindle). I'm currently, but not actively reading Catching Fire (Hunger Games #2)

I hope your reading slump is over! Those are the worst.
I've heard great things about Burial Rites, so hopefully that will get you back into your reading groove!

Wonderful selection, Ciska. I loved both The Book of You and The Curious Incident. Harry sounded good to me until I read a review that said it wasn't all that exciting. So, I'll be looking forward to your opinion on this!

I hope your slump ends soon, I went though one not long ago and I hated it. I hope you enjoy your reads though.

Burial Rites! You will love it, I hope! Curious Incident wasn't a good read for me, but I think it's because of the narrator. Same thing happened with the similar narrator in Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close.

It's always nice to get a few books read after a slump. I had a couple weeks where I hardly read anything- just didn't care about anything I was reading! Hate it when that happens! Have a good week.

I'm also going to read Burial Rites for a review at Cultuurbewust, so I'll probably pick it up within one week ;)
