The Accident, Chris Pavone
As dawn approaches in New York, literary agent Isabel Reed is turning the final pages of a mysterious, anonymous manuscript, racing through the explosive revelations about powerful people, as well as long-hidden secrets about her own past. In Copenhagen, veteran CIA operative Hayden Gray, determined that this sweeping story be buried, is suddenly staring down the barrel of an unexpected gun. And in Zurich, the author himself is hiding in a shadowy expat life, trying to atone for a lifetime’s worth of lies and betrayals with publication of The Accident, while always looking over his shoulder.
Chris grew up in New York City and attended Midwood High School in Brooklyn and then Cornell University. He worked at a number of publishing houses over nearly two decades, mostly as an editor. He is married and the father of twin boys. They live in New York City and on the North Fork of Long Island.

I heard some buzz about this book the last week and was very curious so when I got the chance to review it I took it.
The story is great. A book revealing secrets about some powerful people who try there best to get their hands on all copies. A few parts of the book are told to give the reader an idea about the revelations in the book but I would have liked to have more information or story about the things that happened. Though the ones given are enough to make clear why this book should not be published if it was up to some people.
The characters are a totally different story. Quickly a lot of them are introduced but some are kept mysterious which is not really helping to put them on the right spot on the story. It took some time for me to settle with a few of the characters because of this. Some of the decisions the characters made were weird like Isabel throwing away all her stuff because she is sure she is being followed but still calling her best friend talking freely about what is happening and where she is. The developments do make sense though and it is a story with a lot of excitement.

I'm not tempted by this one, and I see it's not a must, so well, I'll skip it ;)

I just saw a review on Literally Lindsey. It sounds like I would like the book, but obviously not too keen to read it very soon either. As long as there is excitement...
