#Bloggiesta Finish March 2013

Bloggiesta is a blogparty organzide by Suey from It's All About Books and Danielle from There's A Book. The idea behind Bloggiesta is to spend a set time organizing things on your blog you try to neglect when you are trying to fool yourself in the idea you do not have time for it. During these days a lot of bloggers participate in this event and there are mini challenges and chats to help you connect to other bloggers to get tips, learn tricks and get to know each other.

This was the first time I participated in Bloggiesta though I had been lurking the tag before to get motivated and things done.
Lets see how I did with my planned tasks.

• Finish my Avatar / Header image

I have been working hard on this for a while and asked opinions during one of the bloggiesta's chat. Though people liked the idea I also got some feedback confirming the doubts I was having on the image. I ended up contacting an illustrator of an image I have been finding while looking for a proper one for my blog with the question if we could make arrangements for his graphics. I am still waiting on an answer.

• Write Top Ten Tuesdays for the upcoming 4 weeks

I managed to write my top ten Tuesday's up to the 16th of April. I used to do these last minute and not being able to come up with a list of 10. I hope with having this advance now I will be able to keep to lists of ten in the future.

• Get my Facebook page set up properly

I honestly did not do much. To finish my Facebook and make it fit my blog I really need to set on an avatar/ header image. This task will stay on my list. 

• Check out three mini challenges

- How to organize reviews by Lauren from Lost Time Reading  (and participated)
- Getting to know you by Suey from It's All About Books (kind of chickened out on that one)
- Jump start your traffic with StumbleUpon from April at Good Books and Wine (got the button and signed up for a while already but must stumble more)

• Participate in 1 bloggiesta chat 

I participated for an hour in the chat on Saturday. The other two chats I was (am) asleep. 

• Find 5 new blogs with the same book taste as me

I found a lot of great new blogs this weekend.  I signed up at The Book Wheel, Booklover Book Reviews, Always With a Book, Book Wookie, Logan E. Turner, Tif Talks Books ,Girl VS Bookshelf
