In pre-war Prague, the dreams of two young lovers are shattered when they are separated by the Nazi invasion. Then, decades later, thousands of miles away in New York, there's an inescapable glance of recognition between two strangers. Providence is giving Lenka and Josef one more chance.I am a sucker for stories on the war even worse when they are combined with lost love and hopefully happy endings. I cannot stop myself from adding them to my pile. I think I have read 50 books with this subject already and I will continue reading them. This particular book is having great ratings on Goodreads which is making me even want it more.
