I went to Utrecht on the 17th to see an interview with Neil Gaiman. He read some of his book The Ocean at the End of the Lane too and it was great. In the end I got my copy of Ocean signed and bought American Gods and got that signed too and am still impressed by the whole thing.
On Friday my other half celebrated his birthday so we had guests in the evening. It has been very busy the whole week with organizing things and I did not read as much as I had hoped for. I finished Just What Kind of Mother are You? by Paula Daly and In The Moors by Nina Milton. Both are books about missing children which always keeps me reading because you have to know. Reviews are to come later this month.
I am currently reading The Bones of Paris by Laurie R. King
Next up are Songs of Willow Frost by Jamie Ford and The Book of Lost Things by Cynthia Voigt

ReplyI will add 'Just What Kind of Mother are You?' to my TBR. It looks like my kind of book.
Have a wonderful week, Ciska, I hope it will be a little more quiet so you get more time to read.

What a great time you had in Utrecht. I wasn't sure whether to go and when I found out (too late) that I needed a ticket, that was that.
ReplyHave a great week!
The worst part was that in the end everybody was able to get it. The reservations where for the seats but without you could get in but had to stand..
