Top Three Tuesday: Ten things that make my blogging life easier!

top ten buttonTop Ten Tuesday is a weekly hosted by The Broke and Bookish. Every week the girls from the Broke and
Bookish come up with a subject and I will try to find 10 results combined with that weeks topic.

You would think this weeks topic would be easy. So what does make your blogging life easier. Obviously I could come up with a few things but I realized I do not really have many gadgets, helpers and little imps that make it easier. Maybe I have accepted that the way I do it is actually working and am not aware I could make it easier. SO what I am most looking forward to this week is visiting all your top tens and see what I have missed. But here are a few things I could come up with.

Other book bloggers
I get easily motivated if I have a group of people around me with a healthy enthusiasm. As the book blogger community is wide and varied it is usually not that difficult to find someone working on their blog or writing posts. It also helps to see that other bloggers sometimes do not feel like writing reviews and posts. That makes it less bad for me.

My Calendar
I kind of find out very quick that it is needed to keep track of what you have and what you still need so I went on a quest to find a calendar or something that would work for me. After trying various I am now stuck with an excel sheet kind of thing where the calendar changes colour while I am making progress. I like it very much.

Feedly
I am still working on the categories in Feedly after the Google reader got killed but I am making progress and I love it as a tool to keep an eye on all your posts. I think I would see way less of the book blogs if I was not using a reader.

Ooh, your calendar looks nice! Did you create it on your own or find something online? I have an excel spreadsheet, too, but it's not very efficient a system...

I don't have a calendar! This has surprised me!!
About the reader, now I use InoReader, and I like it very much. I also need it in order not to loose posts of my favourite blogs.

I found my calendar here http://topnonprofits.com/free-editorial-calendar-campaign-planning-documents/ and adapted it to my needs.

Oh, nice use of the calendar! I don't have that, I must say my memory is pretty good. And I rarely have to schedule things unless I know I will be away from home.
As for Feedly, I use Bloglovin and my problem is forgetting about it. And then I get there and I have like 400 unread messages. :X Terrible.

Oooh, I like that calendar. Will have to check that out!

I agree about other book bloggers. There's of course GoodReads and Twitter and stuff but book bloggers are the best way of finding out new books, you really get some solid information that way about some titles.

Amazon, Goodreads, Kindle, Netgalley etc... is what makes mine easier (and maybe difficult too) :)
