The 13th hour. Somewhere between 2 and 3am I gave in and had a 3 hour nap.
Could you list a few high-interest books that you think could keep a Reader engaged for next year?
I read The Scrapbook of Frankie Pratt by Caroline Preston which was a great read when my eyes did not want to cooperate no more.
Do you have any suggestions for how to improve the Read-a-thon next year?
I am always impressed by the organization and work everybody puts into making this a success. I did notice there were some comments on the prize page that could have been addressed.
What do you think worked really well in this year’s Read-a-thon?
The readers!!! There where so many!!
How many books did you read?
I finished 3 books of which I started one before the read-a-thon. Total of 725 pages.
How likely are you to participate in the Read-a-thon again? What role would you be likely to take next time?
I will if I can. I love the read-a-thon. I will sign up as a reader most likely. Though I do not sign up as a cheerleader I love to cheer for people on twitter or their blogs I just do not want the obligation. I would like to thank the cheerleaders of #TeamBronte for their support!!
I wasn’t a big fan of Sense of an Ending, either. I think it’s a book that I would appreciate more if I was further along in life. Glad you had fun with the Readathon!

ReplyOf the 3 books I read that was the one that came out on the bottom... though it was the last one too and I might have been a bit to tired ;)
ReplyI think I petered out between 2 and 3 a.m. myself. Congrats on a great readathon!
ReplyWell done, Ciska!! Y are amazing.
ReplyWhat a shame you liked least the one by Barnes; I've heard he has great novels and I'm curious.
