Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten books on my Fall to be read

Top Ten Tuesday Button
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly hosted by The Broke and Bookish. Every week the girls from the Broke and
Bookish come up with a subject and I will try to find 10 results combined with that weeks topic.

I have a clear goal this fall and that is clear out my bedside pile. Reason? It is almost dropping on my head which would be very uncomfortable when I would be asleep right next to it. This actually makes this post not that hard to write just very embarrassing.

  1. American Gods, Neil Gaiman
  2. I am Pilgrim, Terry Hayes
  3. Sophie's World, Jostein Gaarder
  4. The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry, Rachel Joyce
  5. A Great and Terrible Beauty, Libba Bray
  6. The First Phone Call from Heaven, Mitch Albom
  7. The End of Mr. Y, Scarlett Thomas
  8. Jacob besluit lief te hebben, Catalin Dorin Florescu
  9. The Winter Sea, Susanna Kearsley
  10. The Land of Decoration, Grace McLeen

Ciska, that's a great reason to get through the pile -- fear of books falling on my head would certainly motivate me! I've been meaning to read A Great & Terrible Beauty for a while now, and I have a different Susanna Kearsley book on my list (loved The Winter Sea). Good luck with your pile!

Haha, yes please do keep the books from falling on your head. I haven't read any of these, but a few of them are on my general want-to-read list. Good luck!

I just bought The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry for my Kobo yesterday so I'm looking forward to reading that at some point...looking forward to your thoughts on that book! :)

Hope you enjoy American Gods and Sophie's World--I haven't read the latter since high school philosophy class but it'd be interesting to re-visit it again :)

Sophie's World is really great, though I've only read parts of it :)
