Bookish come up with a subject and I will try to find 10 results combined with that weeks topic.
This weeks topic was split in two options, the one was character names you love the other was character names that are unusual. Not sure I could come up with a top ten for either of those I combined them a bit.
1. Kvothe (The Name of the Wind, Patrick Rothfuss)
Unusual but attractive in a way. It does catch attention and as names are important in the whole story it makes you wonder about meaning.
2. Pea (The Night Rainbow, Claire King)
Nicknamed Pea with her full name Peony or Pivione. The whole name fits the little character. It makes her even more cute.
3. Thura (Kinderen van Moeder Aarde, Thea Beckman)
I like this name but I love the character behind it. It is a strong woman knowing what she wants and the name fits just right. (this reminds me I really need to re-read these books)
4. Jonathan Lionhart (The Brothers Lionhart, Astrid Lindgren)
I loved this book, I loved the little boys who did everything for one another and when my brother told me my nephew was named Jonathan I was like YES!!! great name ;)
Been thinking about this for a week now and I cannot come up with more names... I am so curious about all your posts to see your list of names.
