Musing Monday: November 26th 2012

Musing Monday is a weekly hosted by MizB at Should be Reading.
This week’s musing asks…

Have you ever read a book after watching the movie/television version only to find that you don’t like the book as much as the adaptation
The only thing that comes to mind is The Vampire Diaries. Someone adviced me to watch that show at some point so I watched a few episodes and really enjoyed them. I ordered the books and there is a huge difference in story and quality of the story. In this case I really prefer the tv show instead of the books. One of the other tv shows I love to pieces is Bones but I have not read any of the books yet and after my experience with The Vampire Diaries I am a bit scared to do it.

I love Vampire Diaries also, and I only read about the first 10 chapters of the book, but had to put it down because of school, but I did like Elena in the show much better than the one in the book! Here is my Musing!

I actually read The Vampire Diaries (the first 4 books anyway) when they originally released back in the early 90's and enjoyed them a lot. There weren't a lot of good vampire books out at that time in the YA arena. Anyway, I tried to watch the series and was turned off by it because it was nothing like what I remembered the books being. But that's just me.

Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier! :)

I never heard of the TV show or the books, but even if I did, I would neither watch nor read them. They are not my cup of blood, opps, I mean cup of tea.
