It's Monday! What are you reading?

It's Monday! What are You Reading! is a weekly hosted by Sheila over at Book Journey. This weekly is meant to keep you people updated on what I read the last week and what I am planning to read the upcoming week.

My week has been pretty quiet compared to the last weeks. I have been working more hours due to the fact that we have a lot of work at the moment and things need to happen but not to bad. I do notice my brains are more tired though and my reading has been slow. Been more of a mindless tv show starer. So I did not finish one book this week.
I am still reading Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrel by Susanna Clarke.

This means my next up list still contains Of Things Gone Astray by Janina Matthewson.

What do you do when your brain is to tired to read a book?

I hope you're enjoying Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell! I'd love to re-read it at some point, especially with the television adaptation coming out sometime this year.

Sorry to hear you're so tired lately! Whenever my brain is too tired to read a book, I don't force myself and just go to sleep xD

I think you'll find Of Things Gone Astray perfect for a tired brain. It has super short chapters and clips along. :) I only have 30 more pages left in it.

I try and read something very light or just watch tv as you've been doing, and then try and get back into a book when a bit more refreshed. Hope you have a good week!

When I'm too tired to read, I watch TV or listen to music. Hope you get more time to read this week.

You have some interesting books on your plate! I end up watching TV or playing mindless games when my brain is too tired for reading.

I usually nap. If I try to keep reading when my brain just isn't working, I get frustrated or it taints my take on the story. So I nap and then read :)

When things are really exhausting, I tend to give myself some grace - watch TV or go to bed early. You will find your reading time again!

I really liked Strange and Norrell so much. I picked it up at the library, on a whim. This was before I was a blogger and I'd never heard of it. Loved it!
